About Us
About Respect Rx
Respect Rx is a social venture that coaches teens, young adults, advocates and organizations to boost self-respect, relationship respect and respect for all. Respect Rx has reached more than a million teens and adults through programs, such as the ground-breaking Respect Rally, the Respect: Keep It Going! Kit, our book RESPECT and media. We’ve been featured by CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC, USA Today, National Public Radio, CosmoGIRL! Glamour, Mothering, Teen Vogue and other media. Our national partners and clients include Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation, Girls For A Change, Girls Scouts of the USA, the Dove Self-Esteem Fund, Girls Inc., KIPP, The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and schools around the country.
Our Programs
• The Respect Rally
3 to 4-hour interactive summit where teens or college students work in Respect Pods and learn how to make self-respecting choices, create healthy relationships, reach their goals and end cycles of disrespect through the Respect Basics.
• Respect: Keep It Going! Kit
24 supportive peer- or facilitator-led Respect Pod sessions (60 minutes each) that focus on skill-building, sharing and taking action after the Rally.
• Respect Connect
90-minute mini Rally to introduce middle school students to the Respect Basics. Includes 6 follow-up Respect Pod sessions that can be led by an adult facilitator.
• Training and Coaching
Our programs are designed to be sustainable. We train staff and students, providing support and all materials, to lead our programs on their own year after year. We also coach organizations, schools and corporations to integrate the Respect Basics into their missions and existing programs.
• Speaking
Courtney speaks nationwide about her Road to Respect and how teens and adults can start their journey too.
