Setting and achieving your passion-fueled goals...
Respecting and taking care of yourself...
Living in choice...

"When I first started working with Courtney, I had no idea what to expect or even exactly what I would get out of a coaching relationship—I only knew I wanted to become more conscious about my path when it comes to career, family, and life, and take my professional mission to the next level. Through our sessions, I’m learning not only how to better connect with my purpose, but more importantly, how to create the opportunities that help me fulfill it. With Courtney’s guidance, growing, learning, and going outside my comfort zone has become a regular occurrence, and with great results. I’m still astounded at how my work life has been positively transformed!" —Debbie Reber, author of Chill and In Their Shoes, co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul series, and creator of SmartGirlsKnow.com"Coaching with Courtney has changed the way I maintain a healthy balance with all the demands in my life. I no longer rely on destructive thought patterns to guide me through difficult home and work situations. Investing in professional/life coaching is probably the most important gift I have given myself because I now trust myself and honor my own personal values above all to guide my practices in my life. I am certain that I owe this new perspective on living without fear and stress to my coaching experience with Courtney. Bring Courtney on as your life coach. It is the surest way to live your best life!"
—Lesley Kennedy, executive director, Chicago Girls Coalition
"As my life coach, Courtney has come from a place of practical logic, using foresight and wit to help me identify professional goals and create manageable, working methods to achieve those goals. With her help, I've been able to focus on what is most important to me and weed out what is not. Our work together has helped me accomplish an unprecedented sense of calm, courage and confidence in moving forward to realize my lifelong dream. Coaching with Courtney has been the best investment I've made in myself both personally and professionally. I can't recommend her services highly enough." —Erika Stalder, author of Fashion 101: A Crash Course in Clothing, The Date Book: A Teen Girl's. and 97 Things to Do Before You Finish High School"As a coach and as a person, Courtney is an incredible listener. She has helped me work through some of my worst demons by asking the right questions and engaging me to think beyond just my actions, to the reasons behind my thoughts. She is also not afraid to delve into the challenging issues. I have created better and more fulfilling professional and business relationships. She has brought much more understanding and a deeper contentedness to my life by making me more aware, thank you Courtney!" —Vanessa Van Petten, teen author of You're Grounded! and OnTeensToday.com. Featured "youthologist" on Desperate Housewives of Orange Country and other media.
"Coaching with Courtney allowed me to do a great deal of introspection. She regularly includes self-prescribed homework turning my questions into exercises that allowed me to get at my own answers. With wit and an empathetic ear, Courtney draws out the ah-ha moments, which will get you past your current life road blocks. Coaching with her is more like talking to a friend than an authority figure who claims to have all the answers." —Andrea Zak, blogger at BrazenCareerist.com
TRAINING and PROGRAM DESIGN
Respect Rx trains advocates on how to lead Respect Rallies and to use our Respect Basics coaching-based tools and activities to empower girls and women to boost self-respect, sisterhood and social change. In addition, we've helped developed train-the-trainers and programs for Girls For A Change, Girl Scouts of the USA, Bay Area Girls Rock! Camp, the Dove Self-Esteem Fund and YPO-WPO.
"Courtney is a phenomenal program facilitator and a true gift to the girls she works with. She is, as she teaches the girls to be, a 'creative, resourceful and whole' woman who truly leads by example. I found her style to be intuitive and organic which created activities and conversations that were inspiring and incredibly impactful for the girls and adults alike. Her energy set such a positive tone, and she created a safe space where everyone treated each other with respect, was open to learning and growing and was encouraged to explore and celebrate their unique strengths and talents. It has been wonderful to work with her on the GUSA uniquely ME! program!" —Leanne Gluck, Project Manger, uniquely ME!, The Girl Scouts of the USA
Staff Retreats
Courtney and the Respect Rx team also lead staff retreats for organizations. We facilitate your team in creating a 1- to 5-year vision for your organization and envisioning the legacy you want to leave. We also lead you through a process in which each staff member creates a fulfillment-driven action plan for their personal and professional life. For girl and women advocacy organizations, our retreats can focus on training your team to use Respect Rx programs and tools in your work with a focus on wanting for ourselves what we want for girls.
"Courtney embodies what she teaches. Her passion, creativity and confidence in women and girls is contagious. She offered us numerous practical tools, which proved invaluable in helping us to carry out our mission, and in building empowerment, tolerance, and respect amongst our volunteers and the girls we aim to serve. One thing that truly sets Courtney apart from other leaders and advocates is her ability to affect individuals and the group at the same time. Courtney not only inspires social change, but she makes it possible." —Sarah Mehlfeld, Program Coordinator of the Bay Area Girls Rock Camp
