This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personally identifiable information gathered while you are visiting the Respect Rx site, as well as ways in which the site process and disseminate such information. You are, of course, free to use much of the Respect Rx site without providing any personally identifiable information. Respectrx.com ("web site") is owned and operated by Respect Rx LLC.

You can use this web site without providing personal information.

Please note that we review our privacy practices from time to time, and that those practices (and this Privacy Policy) are, therefore, subject to change.

What we collect:

The only information we ever collect on this web site is:
-Your email address and age if you subscribe to our e-newsletter.
-Your email address or first name if you supply it in the process of commenting--but you don't have to. See COMMENTING.
-Your email address if you write us an email.
-Your email address if you want to be interviewed. We may use the personally identifiable information collected via Respect Rx for the sole purpose of contacting people ages 13 and above to set up interviews for any upcoming articles, web content, or books.
-The site will not use the real names gathered via this site for publication in books. All names will be changed in an attempt to protect your privacy and identity for the publication of books. However, the name you provide with your dilemma or My Say may be used—if you want to protect your privacy use a fake name. The site also reserve the right to alter other identifiable information, such as names of other people in your story, in order to protect the identity of others as well.
-When you submit a "dilemma" to get advice, all we collect is your email address, first name and age. We will only publish your first name and age if we choose to feature your dilemma.

MINORS UNDER AGE 13
Respect Rx takes the protection of children's privacy very seriously. Visitors who are known to be under the age of 13 are prohibited from sending us their personally identifiable information. However, you can submit dilemmas or My Says using a fake name and age if you'd like to better protect your privacy. Respect Rx encourages parents or guardians to monitor and participate in their kids' activities on the Internet. Please come back when you’re 13. Check out our Help! section if you need support.

COMMENTING
In order to comment on blog post on Respectrx.com, you must have a TypeKey Account (http://www.typekey.com). You can use a pseudonym or not. TypeKey will not publish information that you have not chosen to make public. So when you register with TypeKey, mind your privacy.

What we don't do:
• We don't use "cookies" to track what you're doing on Respectrx.com. We do track daily, weekly and monthly page views and visitors to the site, but we don't monitor what you're personally doing on the site or where you go when you leave the site.

• We don't share, sell or loan your email addresses to any third parties. Only Respectrx.com and Respect Rx LLC will send you email when you sign up for our e-newsletter, submit a dilemma, or email us directly.

Other stuff to note:
• Links: Respectrx.com contains links to other Internet web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of web sites that are not owned and operated by Respect Rx LLC, including such sites' use of any information (such as IP number, browser type or operating system) collected when visitors to our site click through links to those sites. Even though such information might not identify you personally, we strongly encourage you to become familiar with the privacy practices of those sites.

• Unsubscribe: You can automatically unsubscribe from our e-newsletter or email list. At any time, you can follow a link provided in every newsletter or email message (except for e-commerce confirmations and other administrative emails) to unsubscribe from that particular mailing list or email service.

• Transactions With E-Commerce Partners, Vendors and Advertisers: When you provide personally identifiable financial information and other personally identifiable information to one of our e-commerce partners, vendors or advertisers, this transaction will occur in connection with the site of the e-commerce partner, vendor or advertiser, not on the Respectrx.com site, and, as such, the financial and other personally identifiable information you provide is collected pursuant to and controlled by the privacy policy of such e-commerce partner, vendor or advertiser. Respect Rx LLC is not responsible for such parties' privacy policies and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the applicable privacy policy of the e-commerce site with which you transact business or to contact the operator of such site for more information.

• Contests, Promotions or Sweepstakes: If and when Respectrx.com sponsors contests, promotions or sweepstakes, or third parties sponsor contests, promotions or sweepstakes in conjunction with the Respectrx.com site, either we or the third party will post relevant privacy information in the official rules and/or registration area for the contest, promotion or sweepstakes. That privacy information, to the extent it conflicts with this Privacy Policy, will govern that particular contest, promotion or sweepstakes.

• Surveys and Polls: Our surveys and polls ask for your opinions on various issues. Occasionally, we may request demographic information (like age or gender). Information obtained through surveys and polls is aggregated and used internally.

"Email This to a Friend": The site allows you to forward certain items posted on Respectrx.com. While, due to technical restrictions, the recipient's email address may be retained in our log files, we do not knowingly share it with third parties (unless the recipient has already consented to such use of her personally identifiable information). We also don't email recipients or store their email addresses for our own use.

ADVERTISING COMPANIES
Advertising that appears in connection with the Respectrx.com site and services is currently served by a third-party advertising company: blogads.com. These ads may contain cookies, pixel tags or other tracking technologies that collect information about our visitors to which we do not have access and the use of which is not governed by this Privacy Policy.

HOW WE PROTECT AND SECURE YOUR INFORMATION
The site use reasonable security measures in connection with the Respectrx.com site to protect the data that resides on Respectrx.com servers from loss, misuse or alteration. Respectrx.com-related servers are located in the United States. Any information you provide in registering with the Respectrx.com site will be transferred to the United States. By visiting Respectrx.com, you authorize this processing and use.
