TRAININGS
We have two training programs for advocates:
• The Respect Rally Leader Training:
Our mission is to spread respect to the millions of girls and young women around the globe by partnering with advocates and girls like you. By 2010, our first milestone is to train 2,000 leaders to lead the Respect Rally program for 500 girls each—1 million girls reached. During our trainings, advocates can learn to lead a Respect Rally for their schools, neighborhoods, youth organizations or prevention agencies. You also learn how to customize it to meet your organization's scheduling or specific prevention needs. Learn more about the Rally Leader train-the-trainer.
• Respect Basics: Girl and women advocates can learn the Respect Basics to create a big vision for yourself, boost your self-respect and being the leader you want to be. You'll also learn how to integrate our Respect Basics into your current girl or women programming.
RETREATS, COACHING & WORKSHOPS
Respect Retreat
PROGRAM: 1 or 2.5 day event with 6-months of follow-up activities to keep it going
Delivered as a day-long conference or weekend getaway, our retreats allow women to relax, recharge and reconnect with themselves through the Respect Basics. Discover what fulfills you, your deepest values, and what you want to create more of in your life. Learn how to create balance and boundaries, too. After identifying your big-picture goals, we’ll coach you toward setting a clear plan and vision to bring them to life. Get ready to have what you want—and the self-respect to go with it! Weekend retreats include yoga, meditation and art sessions as well as free time for exercise or rest.
Respect Rx Leadership Retreat
PROGRAM: 1 week
Advocates who lead a Respect Rally for girls, a Respect Summit for women, who attend a workshop or retreat, or who are Respect Rx coaching clients are eligible to apply to attend our annual Leadership Retreat (Summer 2009). Take your self-respect, vision, and advocacy and social change skills to the next level.
Private Coaching with Respect Rx
Our founder, Courtney Macavinta, is a trained life coach with the renowned The Coaches Training Institute. She uses her inquiry skills as an award-winning journalist and coaching skills to empower women and girl advocates to claim and create the life they want—including optimum self-respect. Courtney is currently available for in-person coaching sessions for organizations or companies or via phone for individuals. For more information, please contact us here.
Workshops & Conferences
PROGRAM: 1 to 4 hours workshops; 15 min. to 1 hour keynotes
The Respect Basics
Find out how respect is connected to everything: your feelings about yourself, your choices, your relationships and your future. Learn the secrets to boosting your self-respect, making healthy choices, creating respect in your relationships, and changing your world for the better.
Wanting For Ourselves (What We Want for Our Girls)
Healthy Relationships. Balance. Fulfillment. Abundance. Personal Power. Safety. Body Appreciation. Passion-Driven Lives. We'll learn how express what we want, to build our vision, to take action, and to bring more to girls (and the world) by wanting more for ourselves.
Passionista! Find Fulfillment and Balance
Tired of walking through life uninspired and unfulfilled? It’s time to embrace your inner “passionista!” Taking time to indulge our passions is essential to your fulfillment. This unique workshop will enable you to discover what fulfills you, your deepest values, and what you want to create more of in your life. After identifying your big-picture goals, we’ll coach you toward setting a clear plan and vision to bring them to life. Get ready to have what you want—and the self-respect to go with it!
