The training is intended for those who want to deliver the program at not-for-profit sites. If you are a for-profit, such as a summer camp, materials can be licensed for use at each of your sites. If you want to make sure the training right for you, please email us.
You can also book us to lead a Respect Rally for you!
What do teens learn?
Through storytelling, music, group activities, dialogue circles, self-reflection, community support and vision-building exercises, girls learn what respect truly means. They define respect and disrespectful behavior and how it affects them. They learn how to take action to create more respect in their lives. And when they leave a Rally, girls report that they know how to boost their self-respect, create mutual respect in relationships, make positive choices and take action to change their world so all people are respected. You can also easily customize the Rally for your organization's prevention or awareness-raising focus, such as body image, bullying, communication and boundaries, drug, tobacco & alcohol prevention, goal-setting or dating violence prevention.
Who is the Respect Rally for ideally?
Originally it was for teen girls in grades 9-12. However, we now offer the Rally as a co-ed event, just for teen guys, a college event or as a 90-minute program for middle school students called Respect Connect.
• Download the Respect Rally One Sheet about our new co-ed program. (PDF)
• Download the Respect Rally Information Kit about our girl program (PDF)
How many teens can participate?
Up to 500 depending on space. Teens sit in circles (Respect Pods) for a large part of the event. A Respect Rally can also be a component of a larger conference, leadership program or camp. In addition, the modules can be broken up and delivered workshop-style over the course of a few weeks.
What does the training cost?
The value of the 2-day Respect Rally Leader Training is $450 per person and includes all of the materials you need to plan and lead a Respect Rally as well as a curriculum guide that includes 24 additional post-Rally sessions. However, we offer the training on a sliding scale. If we come to your site to conduct the training, we will charge a single, affordable fee for your entire staff to be trained.
Please email events@respectrx.com to learn more about organizing a training at your organization, our group rates and discounts for those who book a Respect Rally in addition to attending a training.
